SERIOUS INTRODUCTIONS · MUTUAL CHOICE
How mutual introductions work: consent at every stage
Mutual interest means two separate, voluntary decisions. An application expresses interest in a service; it does not grant someone unrestricted access to you.
Agree on what is shared
Before an introduction, ask which information will be shared and with whom. A brief, consented summary is different from a full application, identity document or private photo collection.
Consent to one step at a time
Agreeing to a call does not mean agreeing to another call, a meeting or travel. Silence is not consent. Either person can change their mind; an explanation should not be demanded.
Respect withdrawal
If someone declines, stop contacting them. Do not use another account or ask friends to pressure them. Tell the team if you are being contacted after asking someone to stop.
